In order to educate students about cooperative societies, the Post graduate department of Political Science, Swami Premanand Mahavidyalaya, Mukerian visited Unnati Private Limited Talwara on January 24, 2023. The visit allowed students to comprehend how cooperative societies work and what role they play in women empowerment. Unnati Pvt. Ltd. consists of 80% women workers promoting self- dependence among women. Dr. Amrinder Kaur (HoD, Political Science) accompanied the students. Asst. Prof. Navjot Kaur and Asst. Prof. Surinder Kumar were also present there.
