Rules for the Issue of Books

  • The books may be retained by the students for a period of 14 days   after which they must be returned or got re-issued, the latter depending upon the discretion of the librarian.
  • A fine of 1 Rupee per day, per book is charged if the book is not returned by the due date.
  • Reference books, Textbooks and Rare books are not issued to the Students and can only be read or consulted in the library.
  • If a student loses, defaces or damages a book, he/she shall be liable to pay the cost of it or replace the book along with the late return fine, if any.
  • Current issues of the periodicals and newspapers are not issued.
  • If a student disturbs the peaceful atmosphere of the library, the librarian has the discretion to ask the student to leave the library building.
  • The library will be closed once a year for the purpose of stock checking. All the books borrowed from the library must be returned as notified by the Librarian/Principal.
  • The librarian reserves the right of recalling a book whenever he thinks it necessary.
  • Library card must be produced at the time of getting the roll number.
  • The students of Different classes and staff are issued books as under:
