The department of Political Science, Swami Premanand Mahavidyalaya, Mukerian organized an event on the occasion of Constitution Day to commemorate the adoption of the constitution of India. Dr. Amrinder Kaur, head of the department, welcomed Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma, the chief guest of the day. She highlighted the significance of Constitution Day and the vision and principles advocated by Dr. Ambedkar. Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma talked about the need of the constitution, its functions and role in the society. He also paid tribute to Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar who played an important role in the framing of Indian constitution. An oath taking ceremony was also organised by the department. Dr. Gurpreet Kaur, Asst. Prof. Rekha, Asst. Prof. Navjot, Asst. Prof. Shaina, Asst. Prof. Surinder and other faculty members were also present.
