The Department of Hindi of SPN College Mukerian in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra Hoshiarpur and Social Welfare Club Ulaha organised a cleaniness campaign”Clean village,Green village”. Principal Dr.Sameer Sharma was the chief guest of the event. Dr.Sonia Sharma of department of Hindi welcomed all the dignitaries and introduced them with the motive of the event.While elucidating the purpose behind organising this event Principal Dr.Sameer Sharma stated that to create awareness among youth about clean India,green India was the theme of the event. He further stated that it’s a need of the hour that we all should develop a sound habit of cleaniness in our lives,so that we should make our India “Swachh Bharat”. While interacting with the students chief orator Dr.Jasminder Singh and Dr.Chander Shekar introduced students with the various programmes of the government regarding cleaniness of the villages and developing greenary. At the end Dr. Sameer Mahajan (HOD,Hindi Dept.) thanked the worthy Management, Principal Dr.Sameer Sharma , Social Welfare Club Ulaha and all the present dignitaries for their co- operation in making the event successful.
