Departments of History and Punjabi jointly celebrated birth anniversary of Guru Ravidas ji by organising an extension lecture on the Philosophy of Guru Ravidas ji. Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma inaugrated the programme and threw light on the relevance of Guru Ravidas’ Philosophy. Sh. Mandeep Kumar was keynote speaker and said that Guru Ravidas ji acknowledged unicity and omnipresence of God. Guru Ravidas rejected discrimination within humanity based on caste and creed. Ravidas’ Philosophy takes the side of marginalised and questions the exploitation of the unprivileged class of the society. Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma expressed gratitude to Sh. Mandeep Kumar by presenting momento for the precious time that he contributed.
