Students of Swami Premanand Mahavidyalaya, Mukerian won gold and bronze medals in a shooting competition organized by Jalandhar NCC Group. Apprising about the accomplishment, exceedingly elated Lieutenant Dr. Gopi Sharma, Incharge NCC said Gaurav Thakur and Ankit from 12 Punjab battalion won Gold and Bronze medals, respectively. Ten battalions participated in this shooting competition where 12 Punjab battalion made a mark by attaining first position. He further said Cadet Gaurav has already done exceptionally well by winning a gold medal last year as well.
Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma extolled the winners for their historic achievement. He further incorporated that the college is providing a huge opportunity to students who want to excel in sports. Lieutenant Dr. Gopi Sharma expressed his gratitude to the college principal and the college managing committee for their support and encouragement to the players. He congratulated the proud winners and their parents.
