The departments of History and Sanskrit of Swami Premanand Mahavidyalaya, Mukerian in collaboration with National Youth Development Centre, Talwara organised a debate competition on the topic “Women Empowerment”. Asst. Prof. Anuradha, HoD, History commenced the event by welcoming the guests principal Dr. Sameer Sharma, N k Rathore and Ashutosh. On this occasion, a poster making competition on the theme “Drug Addiction” was also organised where Kashish, Taniya and Tanuja attained first three positions, respectively. Manpreet scored first position in the debate, whereas Ravit Dadwal stood second position and Amanpreet secured third position. The event was carried forward with a skit on Lord Buddha and an infamous bandit Unglimaar. The stage was effectively and efficiently moderated by Prof. Shaina. Dr. Gopi Sharma, HoD, Sanskrit offered a vote of thanks to the college principal and the college managing committee. Dr. Pushpinder Kumari, Prof. Ritu and students were also present there.
