Post-Graduate Department of Mathematics of SPN College Mukerian, celebrated International Pi Day. Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma graced the occasion as the chief guest.While congratulating all, he enunciated that Pi day is celebrated on 14th of March every year. He further stated that on 1706, William Jones, a mathematician introduced Pi symbol and the symbol was popularised by Leonhard Euler in 1737.During the event posters were also presented by the students of the department. On the occasion Prof. Sukwinder,Mr.Mohit,Ms.Anmol,Ms.Priyanka Manhas,Ms.Komalpreet and students were also present.
