Adding another feather to its already embellished cap, Swami Premanand Mahavidyalaya, Mukerian organised Alumni Meet 2023 with great fun and frolic. The meet was attended by alumni who have achieved the coveted positions of Politicians, Businessmen, Army officers, College Principals, teachers and Bank Managers in their career.

The chief guest of the event Senior Vice-president of the college managing committee Sh. Ajit Narang and the Guest of honour Sh. Rajesh Lakhanpal, Auditor of the college managing committee were welcomed and Mahant Sh Ramesh Dass ji with a bouquet of flowers. At the outset of the inaugural, Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma welcomed the alumni of the college and encouraged them to render their extended services by giving their valuable inputs in the aspects of education, career planning, and higher studies etc.

The members of the managing committee and the proud alumni Mr. Arunesh Shakkar, Mr. Sanjeev Anand, Mr. Aashu Mahajan, Mr Sarbjeet Singh sabbi and Mr. Surjeet Singh Bhattian reminisced their wonderful memories spent at the college. Other prominent alumni, who attended the meet, included Sudhir Bali and Pawan Dogra (CBI), Ramesh Saroa (SP), Baljeet Singh (SHO), Dr. Shweta Kohli (Asst. Prof.), and Kulwinder Singh (DSP, Mukerian). They all recollected their golden memories of staying in the campus. Several alumni shared their life experiences virtually with the current students. Speaking on the occasion, chief guest of the day Sh. Ajit Narang expressed heartfelt gratitude to the alumni and wished them godspeed for their future endeavours.

Our alumni experienced an electrifying feeling of joy in sync with the infectious beats of ebullient folk dances like bhangra and giddha. Prof. P. K. Singla (Dean, Alumni) proposed a formal vote of thanks to the college managing committee, the college principal, and the alumni of the college. The event was also attended by faculty members and current students.
