Swami Premanand Mahavidyalaya, Mukerian in association with DC Hoshiarpur organised a two day Voter Awareness campaign from December 9 to 10, 2022. Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma stated that the objective of this campaign was to encourage students to exercise their suffrage as it is something of immense significance in strengthening democracy and building a strong nation. He further said through this campaign the college enrolled students over 18 years of age in the voter’s list. He also thanked Komal Mittal (DC Hoshiarpur) and SDM Mukerian Kanwaljit for their support to make this a successful event.

The campaign also witnessed the presence of Asst. Prof. Anuradha(Incharge Youth Club), Dr. Chandar Shekhar(Head, department of Physical Education), Mukerian Sveep Nodal Officer Shiv Kumar, member Renu Bala, Vikramjit, and BLO Dalip Thakur.
