SPN college Mukerian celebrated its annual fest of the year 2022 with zest and solemn pomp. The theme of this annual event was “Towards a new flight”. The celebrations were started by the anchors, namely Prof. Vikram Singh and Prof. Taruna. This was followed by a group song rendered by the students.

Senior Vice-president of the College Management Committee, Sh. Ajit Narang, along with his wife, Mrs. Chanchal Narang graced the event as chief guests. The General Secretary of the Management Committee, Sh. Vinod Kumar ji along with wife Mrs. Shukla Swaraj ji were the guests of honour. The Secretary of the Management Committee, Mr. Sanjeev Anand ji, Mrs. Meenakshi Anand with their daughter Tanisha and son Vardan, Auditor Dr. Rajesh Lakhanpal, Mrs. Alka Lakhanpal, Sardar Surjit Singh, Mrs. Joginder Kaur, Sh. Varjinder Aggrawal and Sh. Ajay Kumar Aggrawal graced the extravaganza as eminent guests of the day.

In his welcome address Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma said “the institution has been empowering students through education in a rural area for the past 51 years and is now recognised as a quality institution, a well deserving honour for which the management, staff and students have put in their heart and soul. The college has always strived for excellence and building the character and ability of students into highly motivated, responsible and qualified citizens. We are proud to state that the college has performed exceedingly well, in all its courses whether UG or PG.”

A number of activities and celebrations including Bhand, Guddi, Gidha, and Bhangra were performed. The college managing committee felicitated students who have excelled in academics as well as in various co-curricular activities. Sh. Ajit Narang and Sh. Sanjeev Anand congratulated the College Principal and faculty members for organizing this event.
On this occasion, Dr. Arun Kumar, Prof. Narayan Singh, Prof. Vikram Singh, Dr. Pushpinder Kumari, Dr. Sameer Mahajan, Dr. Sonia Sharma, Dr. Deepika Sharma, Dr. Ashok Choudhary, Dr. Gurpreet Kaur, Dr. Gopi Sharma, and Prof. Anuradha were felicitated with awards of appreciation for their indelible contribution in various fields. The stage was efficiently and effectively moderated by Dr. Sonia, Dr. Deepika, Dr. Gopi Sharma, and Prof. Shaina.
