Computer Science Department of Swami Premanand Mahavidyalaya, Mukerian celebrated IT Day.While elucidating about the event Prof.Pankaj Sareen,HoD, Computer Science Department stated that every year third Tuesday of September is celebrated as Professional IT Day.He further said that on this day network engineers,data scientists who have done special work in the field of technology are remembered.He also threw light on the immense contibution of the renowned computer scientists in their respective fields. Further deliberations were held on the the reputed Indian IT companies and the myriad range of job opportunities for the students in this sector.While appreciating the efforts of Computer Science Department Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma stated that these events are the need of the hour and it plays a vital role in the all round development of the students and it also helps students to cop- up with pace of day-to-day changing technology.He congratulated and encouraged the department to organise such events in the future also.A PPT presentation was also given by B.C.A students during this program.At the end of the program Asst.Prof.Parveen Kumar,thanked the College Managing Committee and Principal Dr.Sameer Sharma for their cordial support and guidance.On this occasion Asst.Prof.Aarti and Asst.Prof.Neeti Sharma, students were also present.
