With the motive to intensify awareness on the importance of nutrition for health, the Department of Home Science, Swami Premanand Mahavidyalaya, Mukerian observed National Nutrition Week from 1st september to 7th september. To mark the celebration, students of S.P.N College Mukerian in collaboration with Swami Premanand High School and Government Elementary School Khichhian, put together a Nukkad Natak on water conservation. The event was coordinated by Prof. Harpreet Kaur, Head, Department of Home Science. Sharing her views, she said the event aimed to focus on addressing the importance of nutrition for the human body. Principal, Dr. Sameer Sharma extolled the efforts of the department for organising such an informative and vital event. He lauded the endeavours of participants and impressed upon them to follow healthy eating habits and healthy lifestyle. The event was a great success with active participation from Ms. Jasvir Kaur (Principal, SPN High School) and Ms. Harpreet Kaur (Principal, Govt. Elementary School, Khichhian).
