World Environment Day: An awareness campaign on the World Environment Day was organized by the Department of Biology and the Youth Club on June 6, 2022. The campaign aimed at making use of the waste material and to recycle it with the motto of 3Rs ‘Reimagine, Recreate, Restore’. On one side where the students actively participated in face mask making, innovative planter making as well as making of carry bags / handbags using biodegradable material on the other side students planted various plants on this occasion. The event was organized under the guidance and support of Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma. The event was coordinated by Dr. Gurpreet Kaur, Head, Department of Biology. The students were awarded with appreciation for their efforts and innovative presentations by Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma in the presence of Prof. Anuradha, Dean Youth& Red Ribbon Club, Dr. Gopi Sharma, In-charge NCC, Dr. Amrinder Kaur, Head, Department of Political science, Prof. Tarandeep Kaur and Prof. Rekha, Prof.Meenu and Prof. Ajay. Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma applauded the efforts of the whole team and motivated to come up with more such activities for the welfare of the society in future too. Prof. Anuradha, Dean, Youth & Red Ribbon Club at the end accorded the vote of thanks to the managing committee, Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma, the involved faculty members and the participants of the campaign.
