An awareness rally was organized by the NCC, NSS, Red Ribbon and Youth Club of Swami Premanand Mahavidyalaya Mukerian with the objective of making the society aware about plastic pollution. Giving information in this regard, the Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma said that the students of NCC, NSS and Red Ribbon of the college, realising their responsibility towards the society, participated in the plastic pollution awareness campaign rally. During this rally, students marched from Railway Road to Mata Rani Chowk. At the same time, he also informed the people of the society about the serious problems caused by plastic pollution. Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma also encouraged the concerned departments to organize such type of awareness from time to time. NSS in-charge Dr. Pushpinder Kumari and Dr. Sameer Mahajan, NCC in-charge Lt. Gopi Sharma and Red Ribbon and Youth Club in-charge Prof. Anuradha represented the rally. On this occasion, Dr. Anjana Dadwal, Dr. Chandra Shekhar and students of NCC, NSS and Red Ribbon and Youth Club were present.
