The Red Ribbon Club in collaboration with the Youth Club and History department of Swami Premanand Mahavidyalaya, Mukerian organised an online poster making competition to create awareness about the right to vote among the youngsters. Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma said that the objective of the competition was not only to augment awareness about encouraging people to cast their vote in the upcoming assembly elections but also the importance of vote casting in democracy. He urged students to vote and cast their vote righteously. Further, an online poster making competition was organised where Sapna stood first, Shilpa second and Vishal Kumari obtained third position. Dr. Pushpinder Kumari and Dr. Gopi Sharma apprised students about the importance of voting in democratic countries. Ms. Anuradha, Incharge Red Ribbon and Youth Club, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the college principal and the college managing committee for motivating students. She applauded the efforts and zest of participants.
