Youth Club, Red Ribbon Club, NSS, Women Cell and Hindi Department of Swami Premanand Mahavidyalaya, Mukerian celebrated National Youth Day-2022 on the theme ‘It’s All in the Mind’.
The said Programme was organised as per the guidelines of Nehru Yuva Kendra, Hoshiarpur.
While addressing the participants, Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma stated that the day is celebrated to acknowledge the importance and hard work of the youth, mainly the students, for their contribution in the development of nation and society. He further incorporated that Youth are among the most active of all age groups and their energy, enthusiasm, creativity and inquisitiveness is a huge boon to our modern society. He extolled the efforts and enthusiasm of college clubs for making this event alive and fruitful.
A webinar was also organised by Asst. Prof. Anuradha, incharge Red Ribbon & Youth Club. She stated that National Youth Day is celebrated on 12 January to highlight the youth who are the future of our country and to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda who always motivated the youth of the country and spoke about the right use of the youth in the development of the country. She thanked the principal, the college managing committee and all participants.
