Under the ages of Nehru Yuva Kendra, Hoshiarpur, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt of India, a blood donation camp was organized at Swami Premanand Mahavidyalaya, Mukerian in collaboration with DMC Hospital, Ludhiana. Nearly 60 students of the College gave blood for the noble cause.
President of the College Management Committee, Sh Rajan Makkar presided the occasion as Chief Guest and Secretary of Managing Committee Sh Sanjeev Anand as Guest of Honour. Other members of Managing Committee Sh Jangi Lal Mahajan, Sh Brijendra Aggrawal were also present at the event.
The management committee was given a sumptuous welcome by Dr. Sameer Sharma, the Principal of the college.
Sh Rajan Makkar, President of college Managing Committee congratulated Principal Dr Sameer Sharma and coordinators of various clubs and societies namely NSS Coordinator and Head of Deptt. of Hindi, Dr. Sameer Mahajan, Dr. Sonia Sharma In charge Women Wing , NCC Incharge Dr. Gopi Sharma, Dr Chander Shekhar Head Deptt. Of Phy. Edu Deptt., Ms Anuradha Incharge Red Ribbon Club and other members of staff for organizing this Blood Donation Camp.
