The Post Graduate Department of History of Swami Premanand Mahavidyalaya, Mukerian, organised an extension lecture on the topic “Rebels who wrote History: The story of Ghadar Movement”, under the patronage of Principal Dr Sameer Sharma and competent guidance of Dr Pushpinder Kumari(Head, PG Department of History). Prof. Suresh Kumar, (Associate Professor, GGDSD College, Hariana) was the guest speaker. He was a accorded a floral welcome by the Principal and the faculty members of the Department of History.

Addressing the audience, Principal, Dr. Sameer Sharma gave an insight into the contribution and sacrifice of the Leaders of Ghadar Movement in the Indian National Movement. Prof.Suresh Kumar , through his PPT, presented a detailed informative lecture about the foundation, its leaders, objectives and causes of failures.
All in all, it was an interactive and thought provoking session. The event ended with a vote of thanks by Prof. Anuradha, Department of History.
Other faculty members including Prof. Gulshan Kumar, Prof. Kiranjit Kaur, Prof.Sameer, Prof. Sonia, Prof. Tarandeep, Prof. Ritu and Prof. Bhupinder kaur were also present at the event.
