On the eve of World Mathematics Day, Extension lecture organised by the Department of Mathematics :
To celebrate the World Mathematics Day , the Department of Mathematics organised an extension lecture on the topic “World’s Most Notorious Mathematical Problems”. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Parvinder Singh, Head, Deptt. Of Mathematics, S.G.G.S Khalsa College, Mahilpur. Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma also graced the occasion. The event commenced with the welcome address by the Head of the Mathematics Department, Prof. P.K Singla.
Dr. Parvinder Singh shared his thoughtful views on the Jacobious Theorem and the last theorem of Piere De Fermeti. He also motivated the students for research work by interpreting the beauties of Mathematics
Prof.P.K Singla, Prof. Amit Bhatia, Prof Tarun Ghai, Prof. Dalwinder , Prof. Sukhwinder, Prof. Sukhpal Singh, Prof. Sakshi Bansal, Prof. Mandeep Kaur and Prof. Daljeet Kaur were present at the event.
