Students of Home Science department of SPN college Mukerian visited Cambridge Overseas school and SPN school , Mukerian, to observe the teaching methods used for teaching young children in the school as it forms an eminent part of their syllabus. The students visited nursery wing to study the various playway methods being used for teaching. These play methods improves the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional well-being of children. The students monitored closely the way young children are being taught through the learning while playing method. This kind of teaching method is highly commendable and exemplary. Young children of the school were also interviewed by the students of the college, to which the children responded enthusiastically while giving the constructive participation. Prof. Harpreet Kaur specially thanked Mr Parveen Singh, Principal Cambridge overseas school; Ms Monika Thakur, Head nursery wing and Madam Jasbir Kaur, Principal SPN School for their cooperation and also thanked the college managing commmittee and Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma for their support and guidance. During this visit, Ms Jaswinder Kaur Bhatti and students of the department were also present.
