The Department of Biology of Swami Premanand Mahavidyalaya, Mukerian organized a trip to Dalhousie for the Botanical Survey. About 30 students of the department accompanied the faculty members for the trip. The students got to know about various species and families of plants. Dr. Gurpreet Kaur, Head, Department of Biology alongwith the faculty members Asst. Prof. Meenu, Asst. Prof. Ajay and the laboratory assistant Neha guided the students about adaptations and characteristics of various plant families. Dr. Gurpreet Kaur thanked the authorities of the college, Principal, Dr. Sameer Sharma and Youth welfare department of Panjab University, Chandigarh to make this trip a successful one by their required support and arrangements.
