SPN College Mukerian Created History by Winning the Second Runner up Trophy in the Zonal Youth Festival

Swami Premanand Mahavidyalaya, Mukerian created history by winning 31 prizes and the Third overall trophy in the Zonal Youth Festival held from 14-11-2021 to 17-11-2021.

The college participated in various events and bagged the first position in Group Bhajan, Tokri Making, Mitti de Khidone, Rassa Watna, Peerhi Making, Jhoomer, Poem Recitation, Essay Writing, Mimicry, Pakhi, Histrionics, Photography, Quiz, and Gidha. It attained second position in Group Song, Gudiya Patole, Khidoo Making, Cross-stitching, Mime, Bhand and Bhangra. The college bagged third position in Light Music Geet, Kavishri, Mehndi, Crochet, Knitting, Phulkari, Skit and Rangoli.

Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma congratulated students for their achievements. He also lauded the efforts of Dr. Kiranjit Kaur, Dean Co- Curricular Activities and the contingent in-charges who had burnt the candle at both ends to pave the road towards success. He showed heartfelt gratitude to the Panjab University Chandigarh for providing an opportunity to the students to showcase their inner talent through various events.
The college managing committee applauded the historical achievements of participants for showcasing their dynamic and energy-filled performances in cultural and art activities. They also admired the efficacious mentors who played an instrumental role in enabling the college to win multiple prizes.
