Students of Swami Premanand Mahavidyalaya, Mukerian won gold medals in both senior and junior rifle and pistol shooting competition at district level held in Woodland Overseas School Hoshiarpur on 16 and 17 January 2021.

Gurpreet Singh won the gold medal in 10m air rifle and Gagandeep Singh bagged gold medal in 10m air pistol competition. Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma extolled the winners for their historic achievement. He stated that our college has already been performed exceptionally well at university level. He further incorporated that the college is providing a huge opportunity to students who want to excel in sports. The college, full of all sports facilities, has been providing various facilities to outstanding players.

Dr. Chandar Shekar, Head Department of Physical Education, expressed his gratitude to the college principal and the college managing committee for their support and encouragement to the players. He congratulated the proud winners and their parents.
