A two-day national workshop was organised by the Post Graduate Department of Commerce, Swami Premanand Mahavidyalaya Mukerian. This special workshop was organised under the aegis of National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) in collaboration with the Kona Kona Shiksha Project to finanacially educate the students. The stage was efficiently moderated by Prof.Sonia Aggarwal from the Department of Commerce. The resource persons of the workshop , CS Sh.Nagesh Kumar and Prof.Jaswinder Kaur acquainted the audience about the need of financial planning and the upcoming opportunities in the investment sector. They also had quite an interactive session with the students while solving all their queries pertaining to the financial market. Addressing the audience, Principal Dr Sameer Sharma emphasised that the key objective of workshop was to convey participants about the various aspects to be considered carefully in the process of Financial Planning and Wealth Management.
Dr Anjana Dadwal, Head, Department of Commerce, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to principal Dr Sameer Sharma and the college managing committee for their immense support and guidance. Prof. Vikram Singh, Prof. Dalwinder Kumar, Prof.Mandeep Kaur, Prof Shama and other faculty members were also present during the event.
