The Convocation Ceremony for the graduating students of the academic sessions 2022–23, 2023–24, and 2024–25 was organized with great enthusiasm, dignity, and grandeur at Swami Premanand Mahavidyalaya, Mukerian. The convocation marked a significant milestone in the academic journey of the students, celebrating their achievements in the esteemed presence of distinguished guests, college management, faculty members, parents, and students.

The convocation was further graced by the esteemed presence of the Chief Guest, Ms. Jyotsna Singh, SDM, Mukerian, whose dignified participation added to the prestige of the occasion.

The convocation commenced with the academic procession, ceremonial lighting of the lamp, and the rendition of the Panjab University anthem, reinforcing the spirit of knowledge, discipline, and academic excellence. Several dignitaries from different parts of the district also graced the occasion, enhancing its significance.

Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma, formally welcomed the guests and presented the annual academic report, highlighting the institution’s achievements, academic progress, and contributions across various domains.

Following this, the Secretary of the College Management Committee, Sh. Sanjeev Anand ji, congratulated the graduating students and appreciated their dedication and hard work.

The Convocation Address was delivered by the Chief Guest, Ms. Jyotsna Singh, SDM, Mukerian. She congratulated the students and encouraged them to set high goals, move forward with determination, and fulfill their responsibilities towards society.

Thereafter, the President of the College Management Committee and Guest of Honour, Sh. Rajan Makkar ji, addressed the gathering, appreciating the students’ success and wishing them a bright and prosperous future.

Prof. Narain Singh, Registrar conducted the formal proceedings of the convocation and presented the candidates for the conferment of degrees. On this occasion, the university merit holders were honoured with Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals for their outstanding academic performance. More than 800 students from undergraduate and postgraduate programs were conferred degrees during the ceremony.

The event was efficiently compered by Prof. Vikram Singh and Dr. Gurpreet Kaur, who ensured the smooth and disciplined conduct of the convocation.

The Auditor of the SPN College Management Committee Dr. Rajesh Lakhanpal, extended his blessings and heartfelt congratulations to the students and their families on this significant accomplishment.

The convocation concluded with the National Song and National Anthem, leaving everyone with a sense of pride, inspiration, and renewed enthusiasm.
