The Career Counseling and Placement Cell of SPN College, Mukerian, in collaboration with IQAC, organized a special workshop for the students on the theme “Importance of Communication Skills and Personality Development.” Experts from IDP, Hoshiarpur, shared detailed insights on various aspects of communication during the session.

The workshop began with an introduction of the keynote speakers by Prof. Pankaj Sareen, In-Charge Career Counselling and Placement Cell. Addressing the students, he emphasized that effective communication is the key to success in any field. He urged the students to make the most of the session to shape their future.

The keynote speaker, Ms. Amandeep Kaur (IDP, Hoshiarpur), highlighted the types of communication, its importance, and the barriers that hinder it. She explained that verbal, written, non-verbal, and digital communication are highly essential in today’s competitive era. She also suggested ways to avoid common communication mistakes and improve them effectively.

On this occasion, the Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma, addressed the students and said that communication skills and personality development are the foundation of success in life. Motivating the students, he stated that by adopting clarity, confidence, and courtesy in their communication, they can achieve new heights in both academic and professional life.

The students actively participated in the workshop and sought solutions to their queries through interactive questions.
