“Prerna”: Meet and Greet; An honour to the Nurturers, Principals and the Sarpanches and Panches of the villages

The “Prerna: Meet and Greet” program was successfully organized at Swami Premanand Mahavidyalaya, Mukerian. The event aimed to honor students along with their parents for their outstanding performances and Principals from various schools, teachers, social workers, and panchayat representatives who have made remarkable contributions to education and society.

The event was graced by Senior Vice President of the Managing Committee, Sh. Ajit Narang ji, Secretary Sh. Sanjeev Anand ji, and Auditor Dr. Rajesh Lakhanpal as the chief guests. Additionally, principals of local schools, village sarpanches, and other distinguished guests enhanced the program’s grandeur.

Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma warmly welcomed all esteemed guests and, in his address, highlighted the college’s 54-year-long contribution to the region’s holistic development. SPN College Mukerian utilized this platform to encourage individuals who have excelled in administration, social work, politics, and national security.

Following this, a variety of cultural performances were presented, including bhajans, songs, dances, mimicry, and traditional Bhangra, where students showcased their talent.

Sh. Ajit Narang ji, Senior Vice President, SPN College, Management Committee, emphasized that this event was not just a platform for recognition but also an effort to inspire students to dedicate themselves to education and social service.

Sh. Sanjeev Anand ji, Secretary, SPN College, Management Committee, appreciated the initiative, stating that this event serves as a motivational platform to strengthen the importance of education in society. He urged students to move forward with hard work and determination.

Dr. Rajesh Lakhanpal, Auditor, SPN College Management Committ, spoke about renowned personalities associated with the college’s history, adding that SPN College has made its mark across the Hoshiarpur district.

In the awards distribution ceremony, 51 students were honored in four categories:
Academic Excellence, Co-curricular Activities, Exemplary Discipline,
and Sports.

This initiative not only recognized the achievements of students but also instilled a sense of pride and inspiration among parents.

At the conclusion of the program, commemorative mementos were presented to the honored guests and dignitaries. The event was seamlessly hosted by Dr. Sonia Sharma, Prof. Deepika, and Prof. Lakhwinder Singh.

The “Prerna: Meet and Greet” program not only served as an occasion to recognize the heroes of the education sector but also became a significant platform for exchanging knowledge and inspiration within society.
