The Department of Biology at Swami Premanand Mahavidyalaya, Mukerian enthusiastically celebrated World Wildlife Day with a series of events aimed at spreading awareness about the importance of wildlife conservation. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma, who inspired students with his words of encouragement. The event commenced with a warm welcome extended by Dr. Gurpreet Kaur, Head, Department of Biology, who expressed her gratitude to Dr. Sameer Sharma for his support and presence. To engage students in the cause, Prof. Meenu and Prof. Isha conducted an exciting wildlife quiz competition, in which students participated with great enthusiasm, showcasing their knowledge and passion for the subject. Additionally, the students of the Department of Biology presented various models on wildlife protection, creatively demonstrating innovative ideas and solutions to safeguard endangered species and natural habitats. The event was smoothly moderated by Ms. Paramjit Kaur, ensuring a well-organized and engaging experience for all attendees. To appreciate the efforts of the students, certificates were awarded to all participants as a token of recognition for their dedication and creativity.
