Under the guidelines of the State Election Commission, a special program was organized at Swami Premanand Mahavidyalaya, Mukerian, with the collaboration of the Red Ribbon Club, Youth Club, NCC, and NSS departments. The event was graced by Principal, Dr. Sameer Sharma, as the chief guest. He congratulated the departments organizing the program and addressed the students, emphasizing that voting plays a crucial role in nation-building. He urged everyone to exercise their voting rights selflessly and impartially. He also encouraged students to participate in the upcoming elections by casting their votes.
Prof. Anuradha, In-charge of the Red Ribbon and Youth Club, elaborated on the importance of voting and stated that votes should be cast without any greed or bias. This year too, the Election Commission of India is celebrating 25th January 2025 as National Voters’ Day. Under the leadership of Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma, everyone took the Voter’s Day pledge.
At the conclusion of the programme, NCC in-charge Dr. Gopi Sharma, NSS In-charges Dr. Sonia Sharma, and Dr. Ashok Chaudhary expressed their gratitude to the college management committee and Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma for their special support. The event was attended by all students and teachers.
