On September 17, 2024, the Department of Computer Science celebrated IT Professionals Day with great fervour and excitement. Addressing the students, HOD Prof. Pankaj Sareen said that on this day, network engineers, scientists, data scientists, and others who have made significant contributions to the field of technology are remembered. He spoke in detail about world-renowned computer scientists, the creators of programming languages, and the owners of prestigious Indian computer companies, while also explaining the growing job opportunities in the IT sector. Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma emphasized that along with academics, students should also enroll in skill development courses. In today’s era, artificial intelligence is a beneficial asset for every company. In the future, companies will earn significant profits with the help of this technology. As a result, the demand for young professionals skilled in artificial intelligence is expected to increase rapidly, making studies in this field a gateway to a better and secure career. During the event, PPT presentations were given by BCA and BSc students. At the end of the program, Prof. Praveen Kumar extended a vote of thanks to the college management committee and the college principal for their incessant support.
