The Post Graduate Department of Computer Science at Swami Premanand Mahavidyalaya, Mukerian, organized an induction program for first-year BCA students. In this regard, the Prof. Pankaj Sareen, Head, Post Graduate Department of Computer Science, stated that the departmental teachers discussed various employment opportunities related to computer science and important websites related to the students’ curriculum in detail.

Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma, attended the program as the chief guest. He congratulated the organizing department for the event and addressed the students, emphasizing that in today’s era, the use of computers is prevalent in all fields. Programming is a subject where continuous updating is necessary over time. For assured success, students should practice web development, networking, and programming languages regularly, even beyond the curriculum.

Following this, final-year students Rajat and Gurkirat Singh gave their presentations and shared their experiences with the new students. Additionally, the departmental teachers informed the students about the extra facilities provided by the department.
In the end, Prof.Pankaj Sareen, Head, Post Graduate Department of Computer Science, thanked the SPN College Management Committee and Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma for their continuous support.
