The NSS wing of the Swami Premanand Mahavidyalaya, Mukerian took the initiative to commemorate the sacrifices of the National heroes for the welfare of the country. Under the campaign of Azadi ka Amrit Mhotsav with theme Meri Maati Mera Desh, the NSS volunteers collected soil and rice from their respective homes and placed them in a pot participating actively in the Amrit Kalash Yatra to pay a tribute to the Veers and Veranganas who dedicated their lives for the nation. Dr. Sonia Sharma, the In-charge of NSS (Girls Wing), explained in detail that this campaign has been initiated to honor the nation’s heroes and establish unity in the country.The NSS wing is also supporting the government in this noble endeavor. Students created posters and slogans related to the program. Along with this, all students in the college were made aware of this campaign. Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma, praised the initiative of the NSS volunteers and encouraged the NSS volunteers for their social welfare activities.

Dr. Pradeep Kumar Sengar,In-charge NSS ( Boys Wing) thanked the SPN College Managing Committe, Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma for their kind support and also appreciated the efforts of the NSS wing. Prof. Seema, Prof. Sofia also participated in the event with the NSS volunteers.
