The NCC and the IQAC Departments of Swami Premanand Mahavidyalaya, Mukerian collaboratively organized a lecture on the ‘G20 Summit.’ NCC In-charge Lieutenant Dr. Gopi Sharma mentioned that as part of the Puneet Sagar campaign, a special lecture was organized for NCC cadets on the G20 Summit 2023. Principal, Dr. Sameer Sharma was invited as the chief guest and was warmly welcomed at this awareness programme. In his address, he congratulated the cadets and made them aware of their responsibilities as NCC cadets. He emphasized that NCC’s tenure nurtures leadership skills and self-confidence among cadets, encouraging them to actively participate in every event. He emphasized that knowledge of topics like G20 is very much required for the cadets. Following this, as the guest speaker for the G20 lecture, Prof. Vikram Singh (Coordinator, IQAC and Head of the Economics Department) shared his insights. He provided detailed information about the history, genesis, and workings of the G20 Summit. He also shed light on the main points of G20 Summit held in India recently. The querries of the NCC Cadets were satisfactorily answered by Prof. Vikram Singh. In the end, NCC In-charge Lieutenant Dr. Gopi Sharma expressed gratitude for the support provided by the College Management Committee and College Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma from time to time.
