Swami Premanand Mahavidyalaya, Mukerian celebrated Hindi Day with great enthusiasm, organized by the Postgraduate Department of Hindi. On this occasion, Dr. Sonia Sharma, Head, Post Graduate Department of Hindi explained that September 14th is celebrated as Hindi Day throughout India. In commemoration of this, the Post Graduate Department of Hindi organized various competitions such as calligraphy, story writing, and chart-making for the college students. Students actively participated, and outstanding participants were honored.
As part of Hindi Day celebrations at the college, a special campaign called “Mere Hastakshar Hindi Mein” was also conducted and was inaugurated by Principal, Dr. Sameer Sharma. He extended his greetings for Hindi Day to everyone and encouraged students to promote the Hindi language. Subsequently, the college staff also signed in Hindi, and group signatures in Hindi were collected from students as well.
Dr. Sonia Sharma expressed her gratitude at the end of the program for the special support provided by the college management committee and college principal, Dr. Sameer Sharma. During the event, other members of the Hindi Department, Prof. Seema, Prof. Sofia, and Prof. Shivam, were also present along with group students.
