To commemorate Independence Day, the NCC Cadets of Swami Premanand Mahavidyalaya, Mukerian, participated in an Oath Ceremony. Explaining further, NCC Incharge Lieutenant Dr. Gopi Sharma shared that on the 77th Independence Day, the NCC Cadets assembled and pledged to hoist the National Flag not only in their homes but also in the surrounding areas as part of the ” Har Ghar Tiranga” and “Meri Maati Mera Desh” initiative launched by the Government of India. After the Oath ceremony, Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma extended his congratulations to the NCC Cadets and commended their strong sense of patriotism and attachment to the Nation. He emphasized that there is no greater love than the love for one’s own Nation. He stressed the importance of serving the Country with our body, mind, wealth, and unwavering devotion. He also took pride in mentioning that the college takes pride in the active participation of the NCC Cadets and the Bhangra team in this year’s Mukerian Tehsil Independence Day program, much like in previous years. The event concluded with the resounding patriotic slogans of all the cadets within the college campus. The Organizing Committees expressed gratitude to the College Management Committee and Principal Dr. Sameer Sharma for their exceptional support. On this occasion, NSS Incharge Dr. Sonia Sharma, Red Ribbon Club Incharge Prof. Anuradha, Head of the Department of Physical Education Dr. Chandra Shekhar, and other staff members were also present.
